Ceramics & Acrylic on canvas

The ceramic pieces are made by carefully crafting one by one with clay, the material for ceramics, and then firing twice and painting them with colors. It is a work created by collage of ceramic pieces in search of a suitable place.
Rather than depicting, I used the scratch technique that I used a lot when I was childhood.
I use the method of wiping off with acetone after painting background color several times with different colors. How many times erase affects how different colors are revealed.
- Bird -
The birds in the picture represent us. and represent me.
Most birds like to fly in the sky, but the bird that represents me is a bird that also flies happily even in the closet.
It would be stuffy, but it's not stuffy. Sometimes the bird was frustrated because she couldn't fly as wanted, but now the bird is excited wherever she is.
- Flower -
I spent a lot of time with flowers helping my parents who run a flower garden.
When I saw a pretty flower, I used to fall in love with the subtlety of its color.
A customer who loves flowers so much visited. She said she wanted to buy more even though she had more than 50. She felt so happy that she was addicted to flowers.
How happy it is to be addicted to the beautiful nature, not to anything in the world?
The flowers in my paintings are addictive. It may be a necessary addiction or may be it that needs to be stopped. We live immersed in the beautiful things of the world.
Money, Fame, Success, Games, Good food, Pretty clothes, Drama, etc.
The beginning of my work is faith and family.
Even if the good things in the world are in my sight, my gaze only sees on him.
- Teacup -
At a meeting, a friend of mine said that drinking coffee in a pretty cup is the most beaceful and healing time. So, I decided to use a teacup as a subject.
The teacup which appears in my paintings speaks of communication and empathy.
Carefully crafted teacup serve as a medium that connects us warmly.
Glasses are a constant part of our daily life.
It sits still on one side, waiting for someone to use it, then use it, rinse it, and then use it again.
It resembles our desire to be recognized.
