The World Into My Artwork
People in art galleries are unfamiliar with the concept of “Swimming Ego”, and are always curious about it.
When I’m painting, it feels as if I set one foot on a cloud and float into my own creative world. In that hypothetical world, I leave the door of perspective wide open for those who enter. There’s many different ways that one can interpret my paintings.
As mentioned above, there is not one universally “correct” interpretation on my artworks. The individual connections each viewers have is the true meaning of my artwork.
It is more important for me to have the gallery attendance individually connect with each of the paintings rather than figuring out the artist’s perspective. If the audience felt a deep connection to a painting, then that tells me that they fully understood my artwork’s intent.
I believe that the value of an artwork depends on the inspiration and influence it gives to them. All I ask for to the galleries containing my artwork is to put them in a place where many can see because the longer people see it, the more value they see in it.
