Crga Pastel Animalier

Cécile Carrega, also known by her artist’s name Crga Pastel Animalier, is a pastel artist from Le Chesnay, near Versailles.

Passionate about animals, which she has always loved to draw, she discovered pastels a few years ago and taught herself the technique.

Hyperrealism fascinates her; she strives to depict her subjects in the smallest details; every shadow, every nuance, every hair is important.

Her work aims to pay the most beautiful tribute possible to the animals she depicts by combining hyperrealism with a touch of magic to create unique works that convey true emotion.
