In this print, Enrique Chagoya has created a pastoral pastiche based on George Caleb Bingham's painting "Jolly Floatboatmen" and Albert Bierstadt's Painting of the American West.

Chagoya's piece creates commentary to the current immigration concerns. This is done with a scene populated by a diverse mix of characters. The images are appropriated from many sources by having heads from some images paired with bodies from others.

He painted Border Patrol Officers with Indian headdresses and businessmen with turbans. Humpty Dumpty is drawn as the Lone Ranger along with smaller figures that fade into the background.

Some characters speak out in this piece quoting"artspeak" that is written in a cartoon bubble. In this context, the quotes become a satirical self - criticism of the print and its imagery.
