This work details the journey we take as people when we start with nothing and are forced to gradually build ourselves up into something one step at a time. Often it is only upon reflection at the end of the journey that we can truly see how far we have come and what we have achieved.

Healing, grieving, recovery, mental health, reaching a goal, education, anything really, all requires this process of starting at the beginning and working slowly towards an end. Too often I see the end goal and try to skip the steps, rush the process and finish faster only to fail. This work allows us to see the journey is as essential as the finish and each step is needed to reach the end.
