Climbing on the human waste
[2]

A hatchling turtle is traveling the road that separates it from the sea encountering a plastic bottle along its path. The plastic on the beaches comes both from the sea and from bathers who leave all kinds of waste on the coast. The majority – 84% – of all the beach rubbish is made of plastic. Single-use-plastics, i.e items that have been designed to be used only once and then thrown away, make up 50% of all beach litter.
