The painting “Blue Repression” came about how law enforcement reacted against the protesters during the Black Lives Matter movement.

The one yellow flower symbolizes hope and understanding between law enforcement and people looking for equity, integration, and respect.
In all my artwork, I utilize the symbolism of the colors, red - passion; yellow-optimism; blue- hope, etc.
