Artist Statement

Each flower represents a stillbirth, newborn or mother who has lost their life due to unsafe care in Canada.

Biography
April Mah is a grade 9 student who loves to crochet and learned it from her father 3 years ago. During 2020, she spent most of her time in lockdown working on this blanket and it helped keep her busy. She enjoys music, plays the piano and likes to sing songs in the car with her brother Jules.
