DG SANTE – Animal Health Law (AHL) Campaign
Project: Poster, factsheets and leaflets designed to highlight new animal health legislation in Europe
Client: DG SANTE
Overall budget: €69,398
Start date: January 2021
End date: March 2022
Context: The European Commission aimed to promote the Animal Health Law (AHL), a comprehensive framework for addressing transmissible animal diseases with a preventative approach. The AHL supports competitiveness and a secure market for animals and their products, fostering growth and job creation in the EU livestock and aquaculture sectors. It also incorporates new technologies for animal health activities and provides flexibility to adapt rules to local conditions and emerging climate and social challenges.
Objective: The desired message was to communicate that having healthier animals and being able to prevent, control, and manage better animal diseases will improve life quality for animals and farmers, stabilise the public food supply chain and contribute to One Health.
