Florida is known for its freshwater lakes, springs and wetlands, which are the base for recreation, economics and environmental interactions. In a small drop of pond water there exists an entire microscopic world. It is a wonder that such tiny organisms mate, multiply, and live in an ecological balance that provides the base of energy for much of our planet’s existence.
