First to the North Pole

Likins has been selected for over 20 Juried Shows at the Maryland Federation of Art galleries, winning an honorable mention in 2019 and the Juror’s award in the Spring Member show of 2021 and the Conley Award for 3-D Art.
One of his sculptures was installed at Oxon Hill Manor in 2021. He received third place for sculpture in the 2019 Beacon Press Celebration of the Arts Juried show. Likins has shown at the Maryland State Arts Council, multiple shows at the Hill Center Art Gallery and the Anne Marie Sculpture Gardens where he won a Juror’s Award in 2017, The Biggs American Art Museum, the Underground Gallery of Arlington, Va., the Lynchburg Arts Center, the FCCA, receiving a third place and four honorable mentions and the Mattawoman Creek Art Center, receiving a third place. He recently surpassed 100 million views of his photographs on Google Maps.
