Context: Style and sustainability merged at the three-day hybrid conference held from 15-17 November 2021. The New European Bauhaus featured a multidisciplinary approach to addressing sustainable and equitable living. The conference highlighted projects funded by the LIFE and Horizon 2020 programs that focused on various aspects necessary for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. These included technological innovations incorporating circular economy principles, initiatives preserving ecosystems and promoting nature-based solutions, sustainable building design integrating circularity principles, and efforts to drive behavior change across society.

Objective: The #NewEuropeanBauhaus is the way to make our living spaces and experiences more beautiful, #sustainable and inclusive. The objective of this three-day conference was to discover how #LIFEprogramme and #H2020 projects are showing the way to a #climateneutralEU by 2050!
