Single house emerged among the vast rolling hills of Cantabria. northern Spain. Engulfed by the strength & power of nature . Autumn air, autumn leaves, a touch of coldness.

Wendy is a landscape & seascape artist. She is inspired always by her experiences in life. She is always happy walking in open spaces particularly under the sun when the colours are vibrant. She is drawn to the sculptural aspects of everything in front of her eyes. “Everything has its presence- its form, texture & colour that evokes emotion. Everything in nature evolves in front of your eyes, nothing stands still.“ She interprets her experiences & what she sees onto the canvases with conviction to breathe life into the objects & scenes she paints & draws. She often takes photos wherever she goes ,for reference to work in her studio. She uses oil , acrylic ,pastel & at times mix medias . “Nature is a solace for joy & peaceful mind set, especially as we are living in such a volatile & changeable world”
