Since 1989, engraver, printer, print historian, and curator Amy Worthen has spent much time in Venice. Living and working there for years at a stretch, Venice became an important theme in her work. Engraved, printed, and bound in Venice in collaboration with a group of book artists, Worthen’s book contains twelve original engravings depicting the distinctive passageways known as sotoporteghi. The collection of bound prints was printed in fifteen copies.
