Jean Behra

is the 2nd ever F1 driver with the most number of laps in 1st position (107), but is amongst those who never won a race.
He has been 4 times French Champion of 500 motorcycle championship with moto Guzzi, as he did pretty well with cars too, in 1959 he got hired by Ferrari. Deue to his temper, the "Red Horse" team experience ended soon after he slapped his manager during a discussion. Behra carried many scars from his 12 crashes and lost an ear in one collision. He died in 1959 driving a Porsche in the Berlin AVUS circuit during a minor event before the F1 race.
