Peter Collins
started his racing career in 1949, driving in Formula3 races at the early age of 17. In his career, he won 3 GP and reached the podium 9 times. He entered F1 racing history as the driver that, in the last race of the championship, at Monza circuit in 1956, gave his car, and the victory of the GP, to his direct rival for the World Championship title and teammate, Juan Manuel Fangio. He died 2 years later, during the Nurburgring GP at age 37. He never won the F1 Championship title.
