Keren Simmons is a Melbourne based artist working primarily in painting and drawing. Her colourful works are informed by the designs of banal and inconspicuous objects found on the streets and within the home, of things seen and heard, read and imagined. Each piece comes from an accumulation of disparate thoughts and visuals that have been collected and categorised over time to be later selected and studied to produce a unique singular image.
Keren completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Art) at the VCA in 2019, specialising in drawing and printmaking.
