Colouring Outside the Lines and more art by Lisia Leurdijk

Colouring Outside the Lines
“Colouring Outside the Lines” is a realistic portrait of artist Wassily Kandinsky. He propagated freedom in art, partially because of his condition synaesthesia: combined sensation of the visual (colours/shapes) and auditory (music) senses. His free youth is represented around his portrait as a combination of his abstract Compositions and Improvisations, which absorb the viewer in its movement and emotions. Intends to transfer the sensation of freedom experienced during the creation process.
