The summer of 2020 was seemed subtropical at times. Luxurious growth of native plants in the hedgerows and the blossoming of wild flowers is awe inspiring and comforting. These lanes and the landscape around Bruton provided an escape from the pandemic and general anxiety about the state of the world as well as a chance to reflect.
