I am a young woman with a small group of friends in an Italian village. It's dark and they drive off somewhere. I hide in an alley planning to jump out and surprise them but there is no sign of them. I am drawn towards some iron gates in front of a black building. In the forecourt is a huge hole with glowing embers around it. I find myself pulled towards this crater and am terrified. I wake up but each attempt to sink back to sleep conjures up the same appalling image.
