The series "Costumes" talks about the emancipation of black men. According to the great prophet Simon Kimbangu: "black people will become white and white people will become black". This statement deeply shocked the colonizers. In this work, black emancipated men are wearing acculturated Western aristocratic costumes (derived from colonisation). The artist regrets that for some, the prophecy means that black men have to imitate the colonizer.
