Serafina focused on the element of space and principles of pattern in her sem-abstract painting of a fish. For the positive space of the fish, she substituted the realistic painting with a pattern that references Piet Mondrian's abstract paintings. For the negative space, she painted flowly lines to capture the movement of water. Serafina's painting looks really dreamy and we love it!
