Artist Statement
I see things differently, that’s what I want to show. I want to cause the viewer to pause and reflect. To consider that there may be another way to look at something. What better magic can be created than the viewer feeling joy, laughing or reminiscing a moment from their past. My work is described as colourful, sometimes wonky and always expressing a different point of view. Be it through wonky buildings, impressionist portraits, or my take on the “Masters thru my eyes”.
The Women series is to document the strength, history of our sisters, mothers, all the teachers.
