Artist Statement
As an artist painting with watercolour, it is landscapes, cityscapes and countrysides that foremost capture my attention, especially around Canada, my home. Similar to holding up a treasured object, I hold up the scene I’m considering painting and admire and analyze all it has to offer, light, shapes and shadows, aiming to paint with a focus on the elements most exciting to me.
