Artist Statement
An Iranian-Canadian freelance artist who paints often in watercolours, inks, oil and acrylics. My artworks are figurative, mainly focused on women's portraits. My paintings are largely autobiographical, an acute transformation of me experiencing the inner side linking to the world of colours and shapes. Also, the eyes, as a portal to the soul, give me a powerful symbol representing wisdom, conciseness, and understanding the world I am experiencing. THE NATIVES collection presents the creatures who live with and in their host. Her existence is their ever home and she is defined by her Natives.

Artist Bio
My enthusiasm for painting started at an early age and continued to professional studies. I was educated as a graphic designer and I hold a Master's degree in Philosophy of Art. My studies in Philosophy have been developing my perspective in the process of creating to explore human minds and souls. In 2018, after immigrating to Canada, I was accepted by the oldest local group in Mississauga and have exhibited my paintings in several seasonal groups shows in Visual Arts Mississauga art gallery between 2018-2020. Also, I have participated in several group shows in Iran since I was seventeen.
