Stranding network for sea turtle conservation and more art by ISPRA - Raffaella Piermarini

Stranding network for sea turtle conservation
[10]

A beached dead turtle is recovered by researchers. It will then be taken to the laboratories for necropsy to assess the amount of plastic ingested. The INDICIT I project examined more than 1100 dead loggerheads, of which had ingested near 60% of plastic on average on the Atlantic and Mediterranean studied areas.
