We Come in Peace and more art by Karen Robins

We Come in Peace, 2018

Karen Robins remained wilfully ignorant of camera technology for years when she started taking photos, leaving all of her images up to mostly intuition and chance.

She's more deliberate in her practice now, but still believe that a photographer's vision, how they choose to compose it and why, are just as, if not more important than, the type of camera they use.

She describes her style as fine art documentary, because her favourite images are those that capture the every day, but also heighten or transcend it.
