An 8-year-old girl is doing the threading beads task of the Movement Assessment Battery for children (2nd edition, Petermann, 2011). The test was part of the MEX project of the Department of Psychology IV; funded by the German Research Foundation. In this research project, the relationships between children´s motor development, working memory, attention skills and school performance were examined.
