This silhouetted painting of a young Asian woman was to convey both a sense of mystery and drama using chiaroscuro technique with heavy impasto. My artistic focus lent more to a more of a strict interpretation for the skin tone and hair. Her posing was rather stiff but I rather loved her proud facial expression.
