Caleb Swanigan overcame many hardships to become a professional basketball player. Caleb experienced homelessness as a child and spent many of his night in homeless shelters. Caleb's brother, Carl, made a call to help get his brother out of the suitaion they were in to help him achieve his dreams. Carl called Roosevelt Barnes, a sports agent from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Barnes allowed Caleb to move in with him where he then helped Caleb turn into an exceptional basketball player and set him up with a future. Barnes ended up adopting Caleb within weeks of letting him move in. Although Barnes greatly did help s Caleb to become a star basketball player it was Caleb who had the determination, dream, and hope to make it.
