Tecumseh

Tecumseh was adopted by the Shawnee chief Blackfish and grew to young manhood with several white foster brothers whom Blackfish had captured. His elder sister taught his strict code of honesty and an elder brother taught him woodcraft and hunting. Later in life becoming the Shawnee chief and warrior who promoted resistance to the expansion of the United States onto Native American lands.
