Opis wystawy | Description of the exhibition

Tworzenie nieodłącznie wpisane jest w historię naszego gatunku, a nieograniczona kreatywność
czyni nas wyjątkowymi. Doświadczenie całej historii sztuki pokazuje, że jesteśmy nieustannie zaskakiwani innowacyjnym podejściem artystów do formy wyrazu ich twórczości.
Artyści cyfrowej ery zamiast pędzla, farby i sztalugi wykorzystują algorytmy i dane. Sztuczna

W coraz szerszym spektrum zadań sztuczna inteligencja uzupełnia swoich twórców i wkracza
obrazy, komponują muzykę, piszą poematy, a nawet całe książki.

To pierwsza

Nagrody konkursowe zostały przyznane w czterech kategoriach:

OTWARTA - dowolna sztuka i styl
NOWA - stworzenie zupełnie nowego dzieła sztuki przy użyciu AI
TRANSFORMACJE | METAMORFOZY - artystyczna interpretacja znanych utworów i obrazów

Zapraszamy do obejrzenia ekspozycji, odzwierciedlającej zmiany kulturowe

Our history as a species is inseparable from creation. It is unlimited creativity that makes
us unique. Experience throughout art history shows that we are constantly surprised by
artists' innovative approaches to the form of expression of their work. Artists of the digital
age use algorithms and data instead of brush, paint and easel. Artificial intelligence (AI) has become an artistic form of expression that paves the way for a new kind of art. We have
entered a moment of technological development where AI models no longer just think
linearly and lines of written code contain an element of creativity.

In an ever-widening spectrum of tasks, artificial intelligence is complementing its creators and entering hitherto unknown areas. Human-designed generative neural networks have
made machines not only recognise, but also create a data-based reality. They paint pictures, compose music, write poems and even entire books. Algorithms are able to create new works of art as well as change the style of existing ones.

In the digital age art, so far reserved only for humans, is becoming a combination
of their creativity with the possibilities offered only by new technologies. How can they be used in artistic creation? The "Art, Human, AI" exhibition features 15 winning works from the 2nd edition of the Digital Ars competition organised by the Digital Poland foundation. This is the first initiative in Poland addressed to teams and individual artists and programmers who
create works in the form of image, video, sound or text written using algorithms. Its aim is
to support the development of innovation in Poland by promoting the possibilities of AI, as
well as to educate society and tame its fears in the field of technology.

The competition prizes were awarded in four categories:

OPEN - any art and style
NEW - creating a completely new work of art using AI
TRANSFORMATIONS | METAMORPHOSES - artistic interpretation of well-known songs
and images
AUDIENCE AWARD - online voting

The works presented at the exhibition are an important voice in the debate on the use of
artificial intelligence in art, touching the very essence of what we call art, creativity and
what it means to be a human being. Can artificial intelligence create art on its own? Can we call an AI algorithm an artist? What is the role of art in the constitution of the human being? Who owns the intellectual property of a work that has been created by an artificial
intelligence? How can artists expand the spectrum of expressive means through algorithms?
We invite you to see an exhibition reflecting cultural changes taking place in the era of great digital transformation and allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of AI.
