Die Sonne ist männliche Energie, der Mond empfangend weiblich.
Die Sonne ist aktiv, jetzt allzu aktiv für uns Menschen. Ist es, weil sie, der Sonnenmann in seinem Lebenszyklus,
gerade so ungestüm ist, oder weil wir, die Menschen, die Sonne allzu sehr bedrängen?
Wir Menschen können jetzt, was wir lange Zeit nicht konnten: Wir können messen, bis wohin die Sonnenstürme
reichen, sie scheinen zum Greifen nah. Wir Menschen spüren sie und unsere Technik ächzt unter ihrer Last.
Uns ist Metapher vom Phönix überliefert.
Bereitwillig setzt er, der Phönix, sein Nest in Brand, um sich neu zu erschaffen.
Wenn in den Märchen und Mythen vom Phönix die Rede ist, dann geht es um die Sonne. Im Märchen ist er der
Fleischfressende und das stimmt ja auch. Wir Menschen halten ihr nicht stand, der Sonne. Sie versengt die Haut,
sie dörrt das Fleisch, sie bleicht die Knochen. Was für die Natur tatsächlich gilt, ist Metapher für die Menschen.
Wann wird man je verstehen, dass der kraftvolle Mythos vom Phönix die von Menschen gemachten Brandherde
jedoch nicht benötigt.
DESCRIPTION
The Sun represents masculine energy, while the Moon symbolizes receptive femininity. The Sun is active, perhaps even
excessively so for us humans. Is it because the Sun, the solar man in its life cycle, is currently so unruly, or is it because
we, humans, are exerting too much pressure on the Sun?
We, as humans, can now do something we couldn‘t for a long time: we can measure the extent of solar storms, and
they seem within reach. We feel them, and our technology groans under their weight.
The metaphor of the Phoenix is well-known to us. Willingly, the Phoenix sets its nest on fire to recreate itself. When tales
and myths speak of the Phoenix, they are talking about the Sun. In the story, it is a flesh-eating creature, and that‘s
true. We humans cannot withstand the Sun. It scorches the skin, dries the flesh, and bleaches the bones. What holds
true for nature is, in fact, a metaphor for humanity.
When will we ever understand that the powerful myth of the Phoenix doesn‘t need the firestorms created by humans?
