Ecuador , 2013

This was made by a woman whose children were shot at by paramilitary troops on the river. When she called to her husband for help, he didn’t respond because he had been drinking. During the course of the intervention the group helped her to reframe her situation to relieve the guilt and shame she felt for being involved in an abusive relationship, and the self-blame she carried for the murder of her child.
