One of 5 graphic works from the Nova series. The term 'Nova' comes from the cosmological word for 'star' or 'Supernova'. At the same time they relate to viruses specifically the SARS-CoV-2 virus, also known as the Nova Coronavirus. These works therefore look like they could be viewed through the lens of a telescope or a microscope with a sense of projected or magnified objects. They also represent geomorphological patterns that we see in remote sensing images and aerial views of the landscape. River watershed patterns, ice flows, dunescapes and coastal erosion features can be seen yet they all relate to places, byways and ley lines, themes of previous works. The paintings are concerned not only with the current crisis, but with the internal anxiety of human existence as our impact on planet earth and the dissonance this causes, becomes increasingly apparent.

These images are symbols of the way forward to a future in which we realise our position in the natural scheme of things and to look further in to our collective relationship with the natural world at the macro and micro level. Through observing the natural patterns and processes we hope to come more in tune with our world and with its each other as a single race.

Individually signed and numbered from an edition of 70 prints, they are framed beautifully by Geraint Davies Picture Framing with non-reflective TruVue premium picture framing glass.

The prints can be made available for collection near Bruton in Somerset for 1st December 2020 onwards. Delivery after this date can also be arranged.

The images size is 550mm x 550mm and the final framed size is 650 x 650mm.

If still showing as available for sale please email for further details and to secure an order of one of these framed works.
