Byway near Chesterblade ll and more art by Luke Piper

This is a lane near my studio often called muddy lane. The combination of water reflecting the sky, movement in the ivy-covered branches and the curve of the lane is somehow satisfying. It’s the immediacy of it all crossed at the same time with the timelessness that makes me want to stop and linger at this spot.
