These women are making brass water bottles that are indispensable to the lives of Indians. They are smoothening the rough surface of the bottle using a high-speed rotating machine and paddles. At 3,000 rupees (about 45 dollars) per piece, brass water bottles are expensive. But unlike plastic ones, they are durable; they can be repaired, even with dents and holes, and therefore can withstand long-term use. (Gujarat, India 2019)
