Artist statement: "During my process with my two-faced series - one pure botanical, the other in asian manga style - I search for an aesthetic expression, that transports the idea of disappearance, of transience. The figures are a mixture between animals and humans and they keep recalling us, that we can´t exploit plants and animals unlimited. The detailed connections in every envorinment are fragile and strong at the same time. A disorder could have a destructive impact for everyone/thing involved. My sad Manga figures and the botanic world reflects our human weakness to stand up for a change".
