From September 2020's Gallery Night at Press Cafe:
Jill's work holds a reverence for animals as a symbol; teaching, unfolding and revealing personal and collective truths - inspired by fairytales, wrapped in mystery and guided by instinct. The collection at Press Bay features some of Jill's earlier work in charcoal and a selection of framed prints and mixed media paintings. Jill holds a degree of Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and when she is not painting, she enjoys working alongside the artists at Handwork Artisan Cooperative.
