Courtney Love , 2020
20 x 16 in (h x w)
watercolor, Digital

Growing up, Courtney Love was the first woman I remember seeing on TV playing a guitar and screaming. Throughout her tumultuous life, she has used music to cope with her various struggles. A lot of the time, people focus on Courtney's very public personal life rather than her music, and I wish people would talk about her music more because it's incredibly raw and honest.
