Plow Plow and more art by Will Mentor

Painter and musician Will Mentor taught for many years at Maharishi University in Fairfield. At once mechanical and lyrical, his artistic practice investigated farming, gardens, agriculture and agribusiness. Mentor’s Commissioned Print for Print Club refers to manufacturers of farm implements, many of whom have passed from the scene. The mixed-media print incorporates a photo-etching of a landscape printed in a color-blended roll, old wooden type and other printing elements. He added small smudges of black and white paint to each print in the edition by hand, so each impression is unique.
