Diamond in the Rough and more art by Jesse Burke

Diamond in the Rough , 2013
36 x 24 inch (h x w)

A calm and expansive blue landscape washes over the canvas. Monuments mountains fade into a calm, expansive atmosphere while his daughter crouches over a boulder to admire its minerals. The blue mountains, grey rocks, green moss, and brown dirt display nature in its most simple color pallet.

Just over the tree line is where I find my peace. I sit in silence; crisp fresh mountain air fills my lungs, gentle warmth from the sun kisses my skin, a gentle breeze cools my exhaustion, sweet songs from the birds replace all chatter in my skull. I am reminded of what a gift mother nature is. Places like this is where I find my little slice of heaven. I am reminded of special moments such as this when I admire this piece by Jesse Burke.
