Edinburgh Napier University developed a specialist graduate neonatal nurse education programme to be delivered at the largest Children’s hospital in Hanoi Vietnam. The lack of neonatal education materials and topic specific textbooks in Vietnamese language led to a short fall in resources and recommended reading for the students. Aware of these shortfalls and consensus of benefits that students both Internationally and in the UK report regarding an online presence in their course work, the neonatal nursing course project leader, Anne Moylan and university learning technologist, Natalia McLaren, developed bespoke learning resources in a dual language format. These were made available to students via mobile phone using the Moodle Mobile app. This video focuses on the development of the learning resources and the challenges that were faced. It also touches on the impact of the project and potential future work.
