A veterinarian carries out a necropsy of a Caretta caretta specimen explaining to the researchers how to carry out the steps according to an established common protocol. The INDICIT project carried out several training courses for operators to ensure that the procedures are standardized for the whole Mediterranean and for European countries, producing a valid methodological standard for all.
