Rescued entangled sea turtle

A turtle completely entangled in fishing nets off the Canary Islands. The problem of fishing nets in the Canary Islands is observed often and there are many turtles that are found every year and taken to recovery centers to then be treated and released. More than 50% of debris that cause sea turtle entanglement in the Canary Islands are fishing net, fishing line and fishing rope.
