Abdication and more art by Françoise Vaal

The light blue coating on this steel (piece of a large dumped construction crane) caught my eye. In between the green of the blackberry that is slowly but surely covering up th crane, it tries to hold its ground and still be the powerful construction it once was. Nevertheless... nature is gaining ground.. It simply must abdicate in favor of nature.
What I find fascinating is that , given the chance, nature will takeover everything made by man. It might take a while, meet many complications, thousands of years, but in the end even the tallest buildings will crumble. Nature does not hurry. She is patient and very efficient.
