In a world that is, at times, woeful and worrisome, I prefer to focus on the whimsical. I want to create paintings that are small islands of joy and comfort in the sea of life. For me, the benchmark of success is a smile on the face of those who view my art.

My style is inspired by Norman Rockwell, who was a master of telling stories through his paintings. My own adventures in painting began in 2017 following a 30-year career in communications. Since then, painting has become my inspiration for jumping out of bed and my therapy for dealing with life’s yucky bits.
