Quilt

Artist Statement: I am a retired Family & Consumer Science teacher in Washington County, Maryland. My area of concentration was Clothing & Textiles along with at that time called Home Economics Education from the University of Maryland.
I have been quilting for over 40 years.
When Covid lockdown started I decided I wanted to make use of the time we were to be home by using fabrics I have been collecting and left over fabric from many projects. I realized I have many green fabrics with a yellow tint that I would not choose to use in projects. So I wanted to use these, and a great way to do this is to make a scrappy quilt. Once I got started, I was hooked, and made 21 lap size quilt tops, that I are now all quilted and most have been sold or given away.

Artist Description: Scrappy quilt, made with 100% cotton
