This work is about showing that not all families have what they need all the time, like food, proper housing, proper health care, etc. but in this piece, I focused on food insecurity and housing issues. This topic is important to me because lots of people in Haliburton struggle with issues like these, especially since house prices are so high nowadays, and food prices are higher than ever. I’ve seen what can happen when these situations become even worse, and I feel that Haliburton kind of ignores these things. I would love to see a change in the way these issues are addressed and handled.

I decided to use colour on only one side of the page, that side being the side that represents those who are not struggling with food and housing. I did this because I wanted to show the little things that make people's day in another way than just putting them there. Food and housing can be a luxury for some people, so colour represents how that would feel to someone who lives day by day or week by week instead of month by month or even year by year. The colour shows what might just make their day.
