Translapando
Video

Cloistered and locked up, I gave myself the task of collecting small acts that reverberate in
my embodied subjectivity: my body.
The body is recruited from our lived experience in the world and this world does not stop
even despite the pandemic. My body is made of hard tortillas, my grandmother's screams,
green tomato, Fortnite, what I see through my window and words written from my
affections.
Because the transition is inescapable, so is my future in this world. For our uncle Husserl
the past is a simple memory, while the future is a protection: Being is only in the present,
being here and being now.
Our only task now is to think ourselves from our monad and then go out and (re)think how
we live in the world.
Through video art, I think myself in the here and now, making a vow to the uncertainty to
come.
